Nelson Performance specializes in custom GM LS and LT tuning, diagnostics, and programming for trucks, SUVs, Camaro, Corvette, and LS/LT swapped vehicles.
Data first. Tune second. A proper tune starts with accurate vehicle information, clean data, and a setup that is ready to be calibrated.
Street Tuning
Custom tuning for drivability, performance, idle quality, shift behavior, fuel trims, and overall vehicle response.
Mail-Order Tuning
Remote calibration support using HP Tuners RTD or mail-in PCM/ECM service when applicable.
Swap Tuning
Tuning and diagnostic support for LS/LT swapped vehicles, older platforms, and non-GM builds.
Before We Tune
A tune cannot fix bad data, wiring issues, fuel delivery problems, mechanical faults, or incorrect parts. If the vehicle has drivability issues, misfires, fuel trim concerns, communication faults, or incomplete setup information, diagnostics may be required before tuning.
Our goal is to calibrate the vehicle correctly, not cover up a problem.
Diagnostic Rates
Initial diagnostic inspection: $195 for the first hour.
Additional diagnostic time: $150 per hour after the initial diagnostic hour.
Diagnostics may be required before tuning when there are drivability issues, misfires, communication faults, fuel trim concerns, wiring problems, or incomplete vehicle information.
Tuning Pricing Overview
Every vehicle is different, so final tuning pricing depends on the year, platform, modifications, HP Tuners credit requirements, and whether any ECM or TCM unlock services are needed.
Stock / Basic Bolt-Ons
Starting at $400
For mostly stock vehicles or basic modifications such as intake, exhaust, headers, tire size, or gear changes.
Modified Setups
Starting at $550
For vehicles with camshafts, cylinder heads, transmission changes, converter changes, or more involved performance upgrades.
Heavily Modified Builds
Starting at $650+
For boosted, nitrous, built-engine, complex swap, or high-output combinations requiring additional tuning time and setup review.

HP Tuners Credits
Some vehicles require HP Tuners credits before tuning can be completed. Credit requirements vary by year, ECM, TCM, and platform.
ECM / TCM Unlocks
Some late-model vehicles require ECM or TCM unlock services before calibration changes can be made.
