Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Nelson Performance is not responsible for installation errors or damage due to improper installation or abuse. Parts damaged due to improper installation or abuse are ot returnable, and we are not responsible for any labor, expenses, towing, rental car, or other expenses caused using our parts. It is the installer’s responsibility to verify correctness of all parts prior to installation.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
- Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, usually within 10 days.
There are no refunds for tuning products or tuning services.
Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, or you ordered the incorrect item send us an email at info@nelsonperformance.com. We will send you a Return Merchandise Authorization form. No exchanges will be issued without the RMA form. If you are exchanging an item due to your error, you will be charged shipping for the item we need to send back to you.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Cancelled Orders
All cancelled orders will be charged a 5% cancellation fee to cover the cost of the refund. Special order parts can not be cancelled and no refunds will be issued for any special order parts for any reason.
Tuning Notice
The performance product purchased from Nelson Performance is intended to be installed and used in off-road vehicles only. The installation of thei off-road performance product greatly increases the speed and acceleration of the vehicle on which it is installed. This make the vehicle inherently more dangerous and extreme caution must be take by the driver of the vehicle once the product is installed.
Release and Indemnification
Purchaser acknowledges and agrees that Nelson Performance LLC, and its directors, officers, members, managers, agents, employees and/or distributors shall in no way be held responsible for any damages, claims, economic or non-economic losses, costs, lawsuits, judgements, penalties, levies, expenses and/or any liability of any kind or nature whatsoever, foreseeable or unforseeable, that may arise, directly or indirectly, out of or in connection with any custom programming or PCM/ECM changes requested and performed by Purchaser.
Purchaser/purchaser’s agents, heirs, assigns, executors, trustees and/or attorneys hereby fully and completely release, discharge and agree to wholly indemnify Nelson Performance LLC and its directors, officers, members, managers, agents, employees and/or distributors from any damage claims, demands, economic or non-economic losses, costs, lawsuits, judgements, penalties, levies, expenses and/or any liability of any kind or nature whatsoever, foreseeable or unforseeable, resulting from any action or inaction of Nelson Performance LLC, and its directors, officers, members, managers, agents, employees and/or distributors in connction with the products or services provided to Purchaser, whether or not the action or inaction was negligent. Purchaser agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Nelson Performance LLC and its directors, officers, members, managers, agents, employees and/or distributors for any attorney’s fees, costs, expenses and fees incurred by Nelson Performance LLC and its directors, officers, members, managers, agents, employees and/or distributors in connection with the defense of any of the aforementioned actions.
Purchaser further acknowledges and agrees that the installation of the product/products being provided is at the Purchaser’s own risk, and that Nelson Performance LLC and its directors, officers, members, managers, agents, employees and/or distributors have no liability whatsoever for the improper installation or misapplication of the product. The Purchaser is not to rely on Nelson Performance LLC and its directors, officers, members, managers, agents, employees and/or distributors skill or judgement to furnish goods suitable for any particular purpose, and that Nelson Performance LLC and its directors, officers, members, managers, agents, employees and/or distributors have made no oral, written, express or implied warranties, including but not limited to, the fitness and/or mechantability of the goods and services provided to Purchaser.
